Kia and Coal
Kia and Coal are our cats. I love them dearly, but I believe they think they are dogs. They come when you call them. They like to play fetch, so they don't always get the ball back to you. They chew through a roll of toilet paper like no buddies business. The thing I think is the cutest though is when they need a drink. They refuse their water bowel. This is far more appealing. Yep, I LOVE my cats.

Mr. Thoughtful
That is my husband. He is very thoughtful and sweet. He will bring me treats and gifts for no reason at all. So when he told me on the phone he was getting me something from Goodwill I believed him. What did he pick up for me. Well it was in my last post. It was the big brown chair Samantha was curled up in. Okay, he did admit to buying it for himself. The other gift he brought home. Yep, a pink guitar(I don't play guitar). This has been a great gift though. It has caused many hours of spontaneous jam sessions for the girls. They bust out the guitars and their vocal cords and away they go. Small side note. He also bought Samantha her first pair of heels.

A quick update
First I cut Melia's hair. She wants to grow it out, but I thought this way it could all grow together. Second, I turned 29. No there is no cute picture of me. I did have a very good day though. Third, all my girls are sick. Kellina has ear and sinus infection. Melia has an eye and ear infection. And Samantha. Well, she finished her amoxocillin for a double ear infection and then promptly broke out in a horrible rash. This is how she looked Sunday. All drugged up with Benadryl to try and stop the itch. On top of all this we have work going on at the house all week. Good thing I have nice friends who still let us come over and visit. Lastly, we are suppose to go camping Thursday.

Monday, Monday I wish it were a Sunday
Well, not really I had a great Monday. I spent the day getting the garden in. Samantha planted sunflowers(not much to look at yet.) and I planted veggies and herbs. It was a lot of fun. Thank you mom and Merriann for all the help. After a full day in the yard we headed to softball. I got to cheer on my man as he hit a home run and I even got a picture to boot. The girls had a blast bathing in the dirt! And best of all there were plenty of cute kids to take pictures of. It was a wonderful Monday!

Many Firsts
At almost 29 there aren't many times I can claim a first around here. Sure if I wanted to I could go and jump out of a plane, but I'm not that kind of girl. But today I can claim this last week I did something for the first time. I washed my dishes in the bathroom sink. Yep, pretty exciting I know. Our kitchen sink is on the fritz and the so the bathroom sink it is. Of course this would be the time we decided to invite over for the first time our friends with ten kids. Hey look at that another first. I also have started the process of putting in a garden. Veggies only. The planting will happen today as long as the weather holds out. This will be my first garden that I have ever done in my yard. Samantha recently had a first also. She mowed the lawn for the first time. She was so happy to do it and thanked me several times for teaching her how its done. Joshua's big first was one that as an adult he may not thank me for recording. It was his first time getting dressed up in big sisters clothes. Thank you Melia! Caleb won't be left behind his first was riding Thunder. Thunder was a horse bought for Samantha that she never got really into. It scared her as a small child and she quickly out grew it. Now its Caleb's turn to take the reins. Oh yeah, Kellina get stung be a bee. No pictures of that, but I thought it worth mentioning. I hope you have a wonderful week full of firsts!

Family Fun!
It all began Saturday morning when Jeff suggested we head to the zoo. There was no major talking just an agreement and a loading of the van. Once we got there it was off to see the animals and time for me to use my new lens. Oh what great timing!! The zoom lens took photos that I couldn't believe. It also captured some sweet moments that would have been lost if I had to walk up close to get the shot. It was such a great day and since we got a year long family pass we will get to do it again and again!!
