newborn shoot #2

Today I got to do ANOTHER newborn shoot. It was for my dear friend Maria and her sweet new girl Sophia. And yes Amy this is our Maria from Mt. Baker Care Center. Sophia was a dream to take photos of. She was mellow and her only fault was going potty on her mommy. And really you know that with no diaper on poo will happen on someone or something! She even let me take her into the great outdoors. I really am enjoying all this photo taking and can't wait for more ladies to have babies so I can take pictures of their little ones. So come on girls time for more babies!! Or if you know someone who might want some photos send them my way!

a newborn shoot

Today I had the pleasure of doing photos of my friends sweet newborn. It was a first for me and a ton of fun. The best part is I get to do it all again for my other friend with a new baby!! Carese was so wonderful to take photos of. She was happy and made the job easy. She is also tiny! This is her in the newborn hat her mom made for her. Doesn't fit her head, but it still looks cute. This is her with her mom's hand for perspective. And this is her just being sweet.

Another small package

So, I am lucky to have two friends that were both due to have babies April 2. Ruth, who I blogged about yesterday. and Maria.In Gods amazing timing they have had their babies a day apart three weeks early. Talk about fun for me!Maria's sweet girl is Sophia Grace. She is also an amazing small package. She weighs in at 5 pounds 15 ounces. Her birth was very special to me. I got to stay in touch via text from start to finish. I really felt like I was a part of it all! It truly gave me the longing to do something more involved with other womens birth. When I went to visit I was blown away by this little girls hair!! And by how mellow she is. I can't wait to see how this sweet gift of God will grow.

small packages

Today I got to hold one of the most precious small packages I could have ever imagined! This sweet girl is my friend Ruth's(ironic huh) 12th baby. She came into the world via emergency c-section. She weighs in at a tiny 4 pounds 14 ounces. Isaiah came in at more than double her weight. She is not a preemie(born at 37 weeks). She is just an amazing small package from God. All children are a blessing and snuggling this tiny blessing was mind blowing! I thought I was prepared for her small size, but I wasn't. In case you are wondering she is blowing every ones mind in regards to how well she is doing.
