A dream come true.

For Samantha that is. She has always wanted an American Girl Doll dress, but there is no way I will pay for one. So when Grandma offered to sew one with her, I jumped at it. After two solids days of sewing here is what she has!! She said that the hardest thing was the hat. The entire thing is amazing to me.

This toy...

...was meant for Isaiah. It turns out that a couple other boys thought they needed it instead. Well, at least it's getting well used!!

A night at the theater

June 18th was just that. All three girls performed for Dancing For Joy at the Mount Baker Theater. Melia and Kellina performed "The Good Ship Lollipop". It was Kellina's first time on stage. She did great! Melia was very into this time around. Theses pictures were done during the rehearsal, but at the show both girls had ringlets. Samantha is turning into a beautiful dancer. She performed in Lyrical Worship. And she also performed in ballet. This fall she will start doing point in ballet. She is very excited. This last picture is one of Samantha's friends. I love the flow of it so much I have to share.

Found

This sweet little baby has found a new toy. Lucky for me its not one he will lose. It's not one I will leave behind. No, it is the kind that remind you that your little baby is growing up. Hello to a new milestone!

Where's Kellina!

Lately if that is the question, this is the answer. Each one has a story. Each one finds its way to the white board or taped to the wall. At this rate the house will covered by the fall:)

Oh no we didn't...

Oh yes, we did!! We turned a classic dinner into a wonderful dessert!!! S'mores Pizza recipe

1 pizza crust( we used Pillsbury pre-made)

Nutella

mini marshmallows

1/2 sleeve graham crackers(we added cinnamon)

3-4 tablespoons butter

Pre cook pizza crust until golden brown. About 6-7 minutes. While crust is baking smash graham crackers into what ever size pieces you like. Melt butter in pan on stove top. Add graham crackers and cook for 2-3 minutes(this is where we added cinnamon). When crust is done(lightly golden) remove from oven and top with Nutella and mini marshmallows. Put back in oven and cook till mellows are golden. Remove and sprinkle with graham crackers. For extra chocolate fun I added a chocolate sauce drizzle.

This was so easy and fun to do with the girls. It tasted wonderful!!!

Lost a boy?

Don't worry his brother will help you find him! Don't have twins. Well, I can't help you there. Caleb the climber is in the cupboard. Joshua tried his best to copy big brother, but really he isn't as good at climbing. Twins!!! Gotta love them!

Karl

80 pounds of joy and excitment. 80 pounds of tail wagging, panting, fun!! Here he is. The newest addition to the Doyle family. So far the kids love him, he growls at his reflection, and he hasn't eaten a cat or chicken. He is a sweet fellow that will need some time to get some better manners, but who can resist a dog that sleeps right next to you and slobers on your bed:)

SIX!!

Melia has been six now for five days!! She is loving it. She no longer has to nap. She does have to rest and read a book. Which she loves to do. How did her big day go. Well, in this family birthday person picks the meals of the day. So her big day started with waffles covered in Nutella, strawberries, and powdered sugar. Lunch was corn dogs and french fries. And for dinner she wanted to go out with just daddy. While she was out we prepped her cake and gifts. She was one happy girl!! It really has blown my mind how much she has grown and matured from five to six.

Tie dye tastic!!

I am now hooked on tie dye. I will be making sure that I have all the supplies on hand from here on out. I love to see my kiddos running around or laying around in something I made. Tuesday was the first time I have ever tie dyed. I expected tubs of dye that we would be dunking into. Instead I got squeeze bottles that we used to apply the dye with attention to detail.(okay I didn't do the detail thing to well) These are some of my favorite items. And these are some of my favorite thighs.I heard my friend say she was going to blog about the process. If she does I will add a link, but for now enjoy one last picture of Isaiah in my favorite onsie.

The count down begins

Very soon my little girls will be up on stage singing their little hearts out! They practice and practice at home, at friends, and any where else they think is a good place. They even taught one of their friends the song they are singing. This will be Kellina's first year of being on stage and I am hoping she loves it. Melia is the seasoned pro at performing now. She also is turning six today!! She gets a waffle breakfast, corn dog and french fry lunch, then dinner with daddy. She will come home to her surprise cake with the family. SO amazed my little girl is six!!!

Mr. Big Helper

The twins have hit the age where helping is fun. So the other night when Jeff made dinner Joshua was all about helping. I sure hope that helping out always stays this fun!!
