Spring Party 2014

Someone recently taught me the saying "If it weren't for the last minute I wouldn't get anything done".  This saying is me to the tee!  Wednesday I woke up thinking it was the first day of spring.  When I was corrected I was so excited.  I texted my last minute party planning buddy and a first day of spring party was planned.  Don't worry we also celebrated the last day of winter.  You can click here to see how!
Our spring party was so much fun!!  The toughest part was finding games and activities that weren't bunny and egg themed, but I think we did great.
The kids started with a butterfly hunt.
They had spring themed snacks.
Then enjoyed pin the stinger on the bee and pin the tail on the bunny(yep, one bunny got in there).
Caleb managed to pin the stinger on his brother!
After that the big girls painted flower masks and the boys enjoyed the great outdoors(they had a craft, but were having too much fun hunting bugs).
Sometimes last minute planning is the best planning!

Spring Training

I decided I would brake down my trip to Arizona.  Since our first day was spent at Spring Training I thought I would start there.  I haven't gone to many baseball games.  I don't really watch it on TV.  I don't know many of the rules, but I do know this was fun!
It was a fun relaxed day in the sun.  By relaxed I mean I fell asleep on a grassy hill.  I had been up since 330am!  This was the first game of three that we attended.  Well, I only attended two because I had a killer migraine during the third game. Each game was at a different stadium,  a different day, different teams, and a new experience. I am so glad I got to go on this adventure with my oldest daughter and get to know my far away family better!  Don't worry, I will blog about them too.
