Mr. Lover

That is who Isaiah is fast becoming. He loves his brothers and loves to show them. Gotta love the big open mouth kiss of a baby!

How did he get that?

That's what Jeff asked me about Caleb tonight. My answer, I have no idea. Last night he complained about his head hurting. It was dark and I didn't see anything. I thought he had a headache. This morning when he got up this is what I saw.

So, the mystery remains......

Did you miss it?

Still not seeing it? How about this one? Want to know what you are looking for? A tooth! A teeny, tiny start that will be the first tooth!! Which means I currently have three sons teething at once. Isaiah bottom right. Caleb top left molar. Joshua bottom right molar. And really other than a little extra fuss from Joshua, I think we are all handling quite well. Because his eyes melt my heart, I will share.

Just in case

I thought you may not have noticed what Ms. Kellina did for her fifth birthday. Daddy took her on her first motorcycle ride. She is still to small in my opinion, but she was thrilled to go. He took her to join the club of pierced eared girls. So far her's have been the hardest to deal with. They have come out twice and not wanted to go back in. She loves them though and the video Jeff took of it happening showed what a brave girls she can be.

Comparison.......

...sure can be a lot of fun!! When Isaiah was born both Jeff and I wondered where this baby had come from. He didn't look anything like the other kids at birth. Then Jeff found this picture of himself. Suddenly it all made sense. Isaiah is a little Jeff baby. Jeff had more hair and a little less chub, but we were blown away by their sameness. And because I can't resist here are some more cute Isaiah photos.

My Little Clown Fish!!

Melia has decided this year that she no longer wants to dance. She wants to swim! So I asked around about where was the best and signed her up. I now am the proud mother of a very happy Clown fish. That is the name of her class. It is four little girls and two teachers. Melia's first goal is to unlearn some habits she has made in her self taught swimming. She also is learning to trust her teachers and jump on in!

Sailing the high seas...

....or maybe just the high waters of Lake Whatcom. Either way my children have found a new place they love. No surprise it involves water!! We recently got the privlage of learning of a church family that opens their beautiful water front home to other church families. We went with several other families and enjoyed the beauty abounding. Not only do they let you enjoy the water they provide all the toys you could want. In the evening we enjoyed a boat ride, wave runner, sunset, camp fire, and some good fellowship. I had to force the girls out of the water even though it was dark. Everyone had a blast!! A small side note, this big baby boy is now a big crawler. We even lost him in the house yesterday. He had crawled out of view, stinker.

Summer...I mean school fun!!

Finally summer has hit the Great Northwest! It has just happened to be at the same time as the beginning of school. So that means this home school family needed to take a field trip. We loaded up and headed out to Birch Bay. I figure that since we are learning about the solar system the beach is a perfect trip. Why??? Well, we learned all about tides and how the moon effects them. More important we bondedand had a blast. Do you see me in this photo? Here is Joshua taking in the ocean. Here is Caleb exploring the ocean. And here are the boys finding crabs ands shells. Every time they found a crab I knew. They would yell it at the top of their sweet little lungs. Sorry to all you folks who were trying to relax and listen to the waves. Here's Melia's foot finding crabs. To end the day Melia was very happy to have found and captured 12 crabs. The day was awesome and even Karl enjoyed himself.

Jump Around

There is a wonderful place where jumping is what you do. That and sliding. On Tuesdays we get in 2 for 1. Which means my family costs 13.50 to play for as long as we want. The kids love it!!! Although Joshua was not as brave as Caleb. Melia had to bring him down a couple of the slides. He did find the one area he really liked.I am hoping to make this a once a month outing. Help my kiddos to burn up some of their crazy.
