Finally summer has hit the Great Northwest! It has just happened to be at the same time as the beginning of school. So that means this home school family needed to take a field trip. We loaded up and headed out to Birch Bay. I figure that since we are learning about the solar system the beach is a perfect trip. Why??? Well, we learned all about tides and how the moon effects them. More important we bonded
and had a blast. Do you see me in this photo?

Every time they found a crab I knew. They would yell it at the top of their sweet little lungs. Sorry to all you folks who were trying to relax and listen to the waves. Here's Melia's foot finding crabs.
To end the day Melia was very happy to have found and captured 12 crabs. The day was awesome and even Karl enjoyed himself.
