American Doyle

While we had family up singing and dancing became what all the kids did. Thank you Megan! Now Melia knows the Hannah Montana theme song and continues to sing it even though your not here. This is a clip of one of Melia's songs.

One Womb Two Personalities!!!

The boys may have shared a womb to grow and have identical genes, but they don't have identical personalities. Tonight was the perfect example. It was bath night and little Joshua was calm the whole way through. He smiled when I took off his clothes. He cooed at me while I washed him off. Then when things got hectic and he was forgotten on the sofa he just waited. Now for Caleb he cried the second I started to unbutton his clothes. He screamed when he hit the water and didn't stop the entire time. He cried while I dressed him and wasn't happy till Samantha snuggled him. Thank goodness for Sam. Quick update as far as heads go. The doctor didn't think that at this time a helmet was needed. We will recheck at 4 months. They will just have to be flat heads.

Big Family

We finally had a big family gathering and the crazy thing is all the people were from Jeff's side of the family. It was so much fun to have everyone together and hanging out. Although time seemed to go by way to fast and visits seemed much to short it was a blast. Okay Aunt Carla I know that your visit was just the right amount of time maybe even a little long surrounded by all the craziness toddlers and infants bring:). Someday I will live in a big house with a guest room for you to go and retreat to. Anyways I thought that I would share some of the photos we got for all to see. I know the family ones are hard to see, but that happens when families are so big!

HOME ALONE...

Do you know what your husband does when your not at home? Well Jeff video taped some of his at home alone time and now we all can truely see what a crazy guy he really is.

Thank Heaven For Grandparents!!

I have mentioned before how much Caleb loves his Grandpa Doyle. I now have pictures to prove it. It use to be that if you wanted to see Caleb smile you better come when Grandpa was here. The girls have also noted how much fun Grandpa can be. We recently got a new washer and dryer set and the girls and Grandpa had a blast playing inside the big boxes. Grandma Doyle has has also been known to have a lot of fun with the kids. Samantha's latest fun with grandma was a hair cut. Also very helpful in these hard economic times. Yes Aunt Carla also needed a hair cut!! I'm so glad that we have been blessed with such wonderful grandparents.

Little Baby Flat Flat!

Usually I call my babies little baby fat fat do to their chubby nature. Well, it turns out that Caleb has a flat spot on his head so he will be little baby flat flat. I have so many things to blog about, but so little time. As a matter of fact Kellina is sticking her head in between me and the key board with a possible ear infection, Caleb is on my bed fussing and now Josh in the swing has started to fuss too. Anyways I thought that people would like to know that Caleb has a flat spot and I was told today he may need a helmet. We will go into the doctors next week and they will decide if we need to go to Children's hospital and get a helmet. I guess that the flat spot can increase the risk of SIDS. Who would have guessed. I have no pictures today, but soon I will post all the pictures from the family weekend.

More about yucky BOYS!!!

So I was at work this weekend and I was explaining my double electric breast pump to a co-worker. She was totally grossed out(that's right Tracie I'm talking about you). I thought that I should share with all of you how a feeding happens. It is the most asked question "Do you feed them at the same?". Some of the faces people make when I say yes are priceless. Anyways what does this have to do with yucky boys. Well I'll tell you. Today when I was feeding them they both pooped. I had to sit through an entire feeding with the poop smell all around me. There was no escaping. Good thing they are power feeders and are done in less then 10 minutes. Okay so this happens with both sexes, but it was yucky. Don't worry the photos are rated G.

This next yucky moment isn't for the weak. If you have issues with belly buttons and things relating to them now is time to turn away. That means you Uncle Clint. I mean it!!! Look away! So if you've never dealt with a herniated belly button you are blessed. I am not so lucky. Kellina had the same problem, but not as bad. I guess this yucky thing is also unisex, but oh well. The boys belly buttons I'm told are okay and need no attention. Samantha did point out the other day that she could feel stuff move in their belly buttons. I got to explain that that's because it's their intestine sticking out of their belly and you can feel gas moving through. Sometimes you can even see it moving through. YUCK!!! Oh in case your wondering Joshua is on the left and his is much bigger even though you can't tell here.

Even mother nature gets confused!

Today it is snowing again in the great northwest. I will be stuck at home as the van isn't really meant to go in the snow. Lots of good room not so good traction. I usually love spring. It starts to warm up and the flowers start to bloom. I thought for sure we were pretty close to flowers when I looked down and saw my bulbs starting to bloom. Then this morning snow covered my pretty blooms. Oh well they do look extra pretty with snow as their back drop. Today the little girls wanted to go play while Samantha hung back with the boys. They lasted about ten minutes. In that time I think they ate their fare share of snow. Somethings I just have to pray God is watching out for. You know that yellow snow and frozen animal droppings. There's hopefully not to much of either in our yard since we no longer have any animals. Here are the latest snow shots for your viewing pleasure.

Cute Outfits

As the boys get bigger their clothes get cuter and their smiles get bigger. I have such a fun time dressing my boys up to look like little men. I usually don't dress them alike, but Jeff's Aunt got us very cute matching outfits and I couldn't resist. I of course had to take as many pictures as possible. I also want to thank Aunt Lynn for the Huskies outfit. Jake I hope you like the way it looks on Joshua. In the matching outfits Joshua is on the left, Caleb is on the right. I will let you guess who's who in the rest of the photos. Joshua is smiling like usual. Although Caleb who is harder to get a grin out of spent the day yesterday giving Grandpa Doyle tons of big grins. I think he's in love!

DOUBLE DIGITS!!!!!

Sunday was Samantha's big day. She turned ten! No more single birthday numbers for her. She had a blast going skating with friends and getting more gifts then anyone really needs. I didn't get to make the party because it was the first day back to work for me:( Samantha also got a surprise visit from her Aunt Carla. This was also a big help for Jeff on his first day alone with all the kids. Thank you Aunt Carla! Here are some pictures of the big girl on her special day.

Captain Kellina

Kellina not only gets herself dressed she also makes herself a captain. She gathered several items and after putting them all on she declared "I'm a captain!". Why she has her hands down her pants no one will ever know. Although the other day that's where she was stashing her play money. I hope that's not a sign of her future job:)

Babies first smile:)

The boys just keep getting bigger and bigger. They have reached a first major milestone. Smiles! This video was one of the very first smiles ever. Now its yours to enjoy. Jeff thinks this is Joshua and I'm pretty sure hes right. No I'm not positive its Joshua.

Today Auntie Janis came over and she wins the prize for most smiles ever from the boys. They both couldn't get enough of her.
