The first real camping trip(part 2)

This camping trip was different for us because we drove far for it. We are campers that don't stray far from home. We like to be close just in case the need to come home mid-trip arises. This trip took us about three hours away. It was next to a town so we could venture away from camp and find things to do(or things left behind). It was also different because we were next to a river. It was great to be next to the flowing water, but did cause some worry with the little boys. No one drowned though. There were also some nice sandy spots for the kids to play. For me I learned I love to take nature shots. Things in nature don't suddenly jump up and move. Ok so wild life does, but not not scenery. The best day of weather was of course the day we were leaving. We did stop by the lake for one final run in the sun. What camping trip would be complete with out some form of drama. Ours was slivers just before we hit the road. No worries nurse mama to the rescue. The ride home was a windy one and motion sickness does effect this family. No actual puking, but a close call did cause us to pull over. Like mother like daughter. I will leave you with a shot from the final morning of camping. We loved this trip so much we are already planning our next one!
