The cabin at Mt. Baker

No not that cabin. That is a cabin that the kids built and rebuilt more times than I could count while we stayed at this cabin. To celebrate Jeff's birthday we headed to the hills for a couple days away. It was just what this family needed. We took advantage of all the cabin offered. Puzzles were worked on. It got this far and then I had to throw in the towel because we were headed home. Games were played. Can you guess Melia's new favorite game. Here is one more clue. Fires were sat by, while dad made s'mores. Which we learned were much more melty out of the microwave due to using peanut butter cups. Things I don't have photos of are walking the trails, reading books, daddy shooting his gun while the boys watched in awe, mommy shooting the gun while the kids watch in amazement, sitting in the hot tub, stomping in the snow in the yard, and eating more than we should. For me the best part was the memories made and the bonding shared. A big thank you to Kristal who made it all possible!
