Season Opener

Last night marked the first of many softball games to be played, to be rained out, and to have me taking pictures. Here are the favorites from last night.

What, were you expecting pictures of softball? That will just have to wait until another game.

Driving to strings in the morning I commented on a speedy driver. Melia quickly piped up. "Mom I know why they are going so fast! They have on speed wheels. It makes them go faster."

Samantha(10) "Melia lets see if you can listen and learn one new thing in class tonight." Melia "Don't worry my ears are big and growing. I'll learn something." Samantha was trying to encourage Melia about Sunday school.

Melia(4) "Mom class was so boring. I had to sit." "Melia I'm sure you did something fun like color." "Yeah but I had to sit still!"
