Our big trip to visit Jeff's family was a big success. The weather was nice for us because it wasn't to hot. When we drove over it was in the 100's, but while visiting it got cold enough that Uncle Clint had to build a fire for poor old me. I hadn't packed any long pants because the report on weather I got was HOT. We had a blast swimming at the lake. At least until the wind picked up and a storm quickly blew in. We then enjoyed a thunder storm back at the house.Watching the girls sing at their first but not last paid gig was a lot of fun. I was very impressed with how well they did. They preformed in Kettle Falls at Town and Country days. Their music was so good it got people to dance.! Okay so it was their grandpa and Aunt, but it still counts. Hey Amy I think they did a couple of Taylor Swift songs and now Samantha rocks to her CD. Kellina decided I should buy the fire truck:) She also picked out an old car that she wanted at the car show. We also celebrated Kimber and Melia's birthdays with what else a pinata. It was purple in honor of Melia's favorite color. Kimber turned sixteen and Melia turned four. Thank you Kimber for sharing your sweet sixteen.Samantha got to ride a horse with the help of Uncle Clint, which she loved to do.
The little girls got to play with their cousin Megan and now Aspen their cousin over here is always being called Megan. Poor Aspen. The funnest part of playing was being able to be in the dirt. My girls have a magnetic pull that causes them to be in the dirt even if its only one square inch. Luckily Aunt Cheryl is not lacking in the dirt department. Their house is still in the process of being built. This means now grass yet. Its almost all dirt. It is a hay bale house and will be a very beautiful house when finished. Oh yeah, all of our meals came off the BBQ. Even pancakes!
Your trip looks like it was tons of fun! I love all the pictures. Your kids are all so adorable! I can't believe Melia and Alivia are so old...too sad.
ReplyDeleteAs for Taylor--gotta love her.
