We made it!!

Yes, we made it over the mountain and back again. It turns out that a 7 hour drive with nursing babies is more like a 10 hour drive (we had to stop about every two hours to feed), but I'm thinking of going again in August so it wasn't that bad. I learned that its best if Jeff drives and I give directions (not back seat driving which I do a lot of). When stuck in a car that long its good to pee right before you go and don't consume to many beverages along the way. DVD player is a must!! And always remember you will get there sometime and don't have any expectations. It was a blast to see family and learn to drive a 4 wheeler. That is if getting into first gear counts as driving. I can't wait to go over again. Although due to my motion sickness and dislike of the mountains I think we'll go south then east next time. Visit some of the hay fields along the way.
