Summer Fun!

So here in Washington one never knows what the weather will hold. They often say if you don't like the weather just wait ten minutes. Because of this fact I have learned to embrass the good days as if they will never come again. This spring was very pretty with many hot days. On one of these days my mom and I took all the kids plus one of Samanthas friends to Cranberry Lake. That is at Deceptions Pass in case you don't know and if you don't know where that is well to bad. It was very nice and the water was warm. I didn't believe the girls until I went in myself. It would have been much nicer if the wind would have let up, but it didn't. The boys took their first swim. All I saw of Samantha and her friend were heads way out in the water. That is until Christina's lips turned blue and they tried to warm up. The girls played in the sand(it is a close cousin to dirt) or hid under their towels. It was pretty windy and they needed to warm up some how. The funniest thing was geese came up to say hi and I saw what my family would look like if we were birds. By the way Caleb is in bright orange.
