So, Sunday dawned a new day with sun in the sky!! Okay, every once and a while rain burst forth too. We decided to divide and conquer the events. The Thames plus Melia, Isaiah, and me all loaded up and headed to church. A church that Mr. Thames had scouted out and researched. Turns out the pastor had done the same after receiving an e-mail from Mr. Thames. He had found their blog and knew quit a bit about them. After church we ate lunch at Applebees and then headed back to camp. Jeff had enjoyed camp with kids riding bikes, playing chess, and guitar. When we were all back together we loaded into the Thames bus and headed to some of their friends who live in Oregon. We had a fun night. We had a BBQ, visited and learned a fun game called Hand and Foot. The women totally killed the men and it was, as Melia would say, epic!
The next morning we woke up and headed home. The drive back was very uneventful even with having to avoid a collapsed bridge. I pointed out the capitol.
We enjoyed a jet at a potty spot.
And I took this picture which really made my day since it was Memorial Day.
Well, that's it folks! Our entire trip. Up next I will be telling you all about a little girl who just turned eight!!!
