Eight!

I really can't even wrap my mind around it!!  Melia is eight!!  Her day started out with her breakfast choice, Trix.

She then decided she wanted to go to church just dad and her.  They ended up picking up her Aunt and heading to church.  After church was lunch and some birthday shopping.  Then home to enjoy gluten free cupcakes(Samantha is seeing if a gluten free life equals a healthier life).

After cupcakes we opened gifts and she promptly sat down to enjoy them all.

It was a very simple and fun day.  She is planning to do the water-slides with friends once it warms a bit.  A little insight into Melia.  She loves to read.  She was super happy about getting a watch so she can always tell the time.  She has a stubborn streak that my mom says is nothing compared to mine as kid.  She loves to sing.  Like, loud and proud, don't care who is around or if she really knows the song or not. She is a sweet big sister, unless she is not.  She is a big helper to mom around the house.  She is very determined!
