Breakaway

So, during Samantha's dance rehearsal, I decided that I would take advantage of the gaps in between dances and breakaway.  After her first dance I headed home.  I gathered Melia, Kellina, and Isaiah. Then headed to Birch Bay.  They happened to be having their annual sand castle building contest.  When we first arrived most people had mounds of sand that were just starting to take shape.  As we left we got to see them come to life!

When we first arrived the goal was to avoid the water as much as possible.

Unless you needed to wash off a rock or shell.

We quickly learned that avoiding the water would be impossible.  So we kicked off our shoes.

And just dove right in!!

We had a wonderful time of memory building.
